Every year the Domaine de L’ansa team harvest the olives from the ancient olive trees in our grove. The olives are then pressed for oil and a limited number bottles are produced for use in the villa and for gifts for our partners and guests.
Despite the unusual weather conditions experienced this season, we had a good harvest and produced yet another batch of excellent oil.
Using our own produce is one of the many sustainability initiatives at Domaine de L’ansa which is a core ethos of our day to day operations.
In addition to olives, we have a lemon orchard and produce and bottle limoncello, as well as a seasonal organic vegetable and fruit garden that ensures that only the freshest ingredients go from the garden onto our guests plates.
